ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate in the Youth Olympic Games, athletes must have been born between 1 January 2000 and 31 December 2003.
EVENT FORMAT
Modern Tetrathlon: Swimming, Running, Shooting and Fencing. All 4 events take place on the same day.
QUALIFICATION PATHWAY
For Asia countries, two (2) highest ranked athletes from different NOCs in the continental qualifier, will earn a placing in YOG 2018 Modern Pentathlon Event.
